About Us

Seams Like New, in Prescott, WI, is a leading alterations and sewing expert serving River Falls, Ellsworth, Hudson and the surrounding areas since 2009. With great pleasure, I want to announce my retirement in mid-August. I will not be accommodating new clientele. I shall continue to operate during regular business hours until August 18th, and will be appointment only afterwards. I am delighted to confirm that I will still be available for prom dress alterations during the spring season.

She made custom removable pillow covers for perfectly fine decorator pillows. I’ve had her replace a zipper in a purse that I wasn’t ready to be done with-good as new, better actually. Most recently I had her re-cover a cushion for an IKEA ottoman in a color that wasn’t available for purchase. Again-perfect. Bottom line for us- it’s about continuing to use/re-use high quality items and keeping them out of the landfill. You won’t be disappointed in her attention to detail.
